Pre-Press Graphic Designer / Photographer position

I have moved from Sydney to Perth and I am currently looking for a placement in photography or graphic design.

I am here in Perth to give myself the chance to work here not only for the last few remaining weeks but hopefully find someone who can sponsor me with the 457 Visa for the next 4 years. I am looking for the positions between a senior designer or a managerial position in the design industry, or in a photography based business. For the past six months I have been working at The Negotiator (The Coupon Magazine) who produce a business related magazine for six different areas of Sydney; a team oriented job and demanding from me the responsibilities as a senior graphic designer. Everyday we produced various artworks for clients and coordinated the timely output of the monthly magazines. Since my contract expired I moved to Perth to seek new opportunities here. I have been working in the graphic design industry for over nine years, three of which as a freelance designer and photographer. Following my four year Diploma Course in Art & Design I have made Graphic Design and Photography my focal point for a career and profession. My studies and years of work laid the path to a life long dream that brought me to Perth seeking a future not only in Australia but also with a leading company like yours. My experience not only gave me the opportunity to work to high Brand's standards, but also to be able to create Branding for other corporate and non-corporate firms. Due to my freelance experience the necessary skills in communication and client understanding have been perfected. Output precision and tight deadlines have been a daily task and made me master the all important eye for detail and time management; indispensable for competitiveness. Also dealing with invoicing and customer care such as installation of event banners, signage and other enquires. Working hard to reach further into my ambition and believing in what I can offer.

Senior Technical Illustrator

I am a technical Illustrator with 15 years experience producing detail cut-a-way and exploded illustrations for workshop repair and parts manuals. I am looking for freelance/contract or full time work. Freelance Mac Operator

Creative Mac Operator is looking for part time, casual or freelance work in and around Perth. With over 20 years experience working in the advertising, pre-press and print industry, 10 of which as a freelancer. I am fully proficient in using Quark XPress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. I also have some experience in using Adobe GoLive, Acrobat and Bryce to name but a few.

My experience began way back in 1996 working for a print company using traditional pre-press methods of creating artwork, film planning and making printing plates. I first began using the Mac in 1990 and have been using it ever since on a vast array of projects for various print and advertising companies. Taking designer's concepts through to press ready finished artwork.

I am available for work at either your place of work or using my own equipment at home.
