Learning Outcomes
This training course is designed to teach new web developers how to create web sites using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3. The course is task-based with students learning by doing. Along with covering the basics of Dreamweaver CS3, the course focuses on best practices and design, stressing the importance of usability.
This course comprises training in elements of the units of competencies from the 'Nationally Endorsed Information Technology Training Package' ICA05

The trainer conducting this course is Bernard OHara (Adobe - Certified Dreamweaver Developer)
Bernard has been working in the Printing and Graphic Arts industry for over 30 years and has been training industry people in the use of Adobe Dreamweaver for over 7 years. Bernards knowledge and skills are not just limited to the Adobe Dreamweaver application, but also on how to use other Adobe products such as Fireworks to correctly prepare graphic images for the web.

Training Method
Prepress Skills Centre is a specialist training centre (since 1995) with many years experience in providing specialist training to both the print and web publishing industries.
Our computer labs are very spacious and utilise ergonomically designed computer benches and chairs. Training techniques used at the training centre include the use of a computer projection screen for clear vision of demonstrations.
During the course participants will develop the skills required to complete structured exercises and workplace related projects. All techniques and skills will be demonstrated and each participant will be provided with feedback on their progress and personal attention when required.
Prepress Skills Centre is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for the delivery of training, assessment of skills and issuance of certification. Participants wishing to have their skills assessed and receive certification can apply to undertake a skills assessment through Prepress Skills Centre
Prerequisites
To undertake this course participants require basic computer skills (Macintosh or PC) with the ability to manage files and folders. Prior Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 experience is not a prerequisite.
